on September 8th, 2018. And her new novel,
When The Haboob Sings
, was released on May 20th, 2019. Nej has also written and published nine anthologies of poetry, two compilations of essays, and a book of original quotes. Some time in her past, she wanted to throw away all her poems. Her sister, Jade, intuiting that the poems would be published one day, told her she would keep them safely tucked away. Years later, in 2014, Nej asked for the poems back and gave birth to her first child,
